"At STEM Catalyst, we are dedicated to cultivating a vibrant and inclusive global community where STEM literacy thrives. Through mentorship, education, and advocacy, we aim to eliminate barriers, spark curiosity, and ignite a passion for lifelong learning, ensuring that every individual, regardless of background, has the opportunity to contribute to and benefit from the ever-evolving world of STEM. Together, we aspire to create a future where innovation knows no boundaries and where STEM becomes a universal language that unites us all."

Philosophy

3-Day Science Incursion for Foundation students at Darul Ulum College of Victoria, (DUCV) June 2022.

Sparking a love for science by providing individuals opportunities to look closer at the world around them and enhance the way they look at it. We enable this through hands-on, simple, fun, easy-to-understand, and most importantly relevant science and technology-based experiments.

We bring science to life! We aim to help students understand and appreciate the relevance of science in their lives by offering activities designed around science in everyday life.

We strongly believe in the applied approach of introducing STEM to young inquisitive minds to foster their curiosity which otherwise is not available on a day-to-day basis within the classic educational system in Australia. When young children are engaged in real and purposeful STEM projects, their early positive impressions of STEM disciplines will encourage them to take up relevant careers in the future and also be critical problem solvers and outstanding innovators. We hereby hope to produce more STEM professionals for the nation and also balance out the crucial gender imbalance in STEM professions by being role models ourselves.

We deliver our programs through various models – weekly learning programs, holiday programs, half/full Day school incursions aligning with the Victorian School Curriculum, and informal learning community events at Hubs.
